Susan Hepner
Chairman

With substantial experience in the DC banking industry, Susan has played significant roles in many local community banks as well as a prominent regional bank. She sat on the Audit, Nominating, Compensation and Executive Committees of Franklin National Bank. She also served on the Executive Committee of Franklin National Bankcorporation and chaired the audit committee of this NASDAQ listed bank. Susan was also a member of the DC Regional Board of BB&T bank, where she was a permanent member of the Loan Committee, and reviewed hundreds of millions of dollars of loan requests. Prior to the bank being sold successfully to Eagle Bank, Susan was the Chair of Fidelity & Trust Financial Corporation.

Susan is the Chairman and Founder of Great Jones Capital. She has been known as a leader in the field of tax and governance structures for multigenerational groups who pursue long-term protection of their shared assets. Susan was formerly a Partner at Raffa, P.C. where she served as a Trusted Advisor to her many clients. 

Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from American University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Southeastern University. She lives in Washington D.C. Susan has sat on numerous non-profit boards throughout her career. Susan is a Member of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. She is a past Chair of the Board of Washington Performing Arts and continues in the role as a Member of the Board.
